‘Thrones’ Fans Play Permanent Game

I am a fan of Game of Thrones, and I am obviously a fan of tattoos, but I have never like a TV show enough to want to have reminders of it permanently inked onto my body. But that is exactly what these people did in a promotional event, marking the start of season 2 of the show. I guess the chance at having Ami James give you a free tattoo at the now famous Wooster St. Social Club is pretty enticing.

Dozens of fans of HBO’s “Game of Thrones” did just that Friday at a studio in SoHo, permanently marking their affection for the show with one of five designs by famed tattoo artist Ami James. They got the ink for free courtesy of HBO for an event promoting the fantasy series, which started its second season on Sunday.
